Vision:

For educating society, we should develop the capacities of individuals via having learning and experience. In the current era, none can pass unless he/she has enough knowledge employed to serve the technology.


Mission:
Continuing education is teaching or training after academic teaching. It aims to develop professional skills and raise the level of work. It also regards an educational activity targeting to reach correct and modern information and expertise in the best way to all social classes based on their specializations.

Goals:

1. Continuing Education Division is an essential source for the TUC from the sources of development through:

A. Providing programs and training courses.

B. Targeting social categories in terms of the need to learn and gain productive work skills.

C. Via provides development programs to encourage the target categories to achieve their aims; we work to expand the beneficiaries’ numbers of the services submitted to cover all classes of society, that’s on the one hand. On the other hand, it targets to strengthen the community’s sense of the importance of continuing education and rehabilitative courses. Besides, it is opening practical training horizons to activate the trainee’s capacity building to find job opportunities and provide her/him with high skills that assist in achieving the overall quality of the work.

2. Using modern training techniques.

3. The Continuing Education Division contributes to the spread of culture, science, and technical awareness of society. It provides comprehensive seminars and conferences to meet multiple needs and requirements of the community.

4. Providing consultations and professional experiences for individuals who already have a job and want to develop their capabilities via professional training to improve the level of their skills and information.

Duties:

Continuing education depends on several strategies that public and private educational institutions strive to have the interest of individuals in such instruction. They include five main approaches, which are:

• The interest in all types of education, not only what existed in the public curriculum.

• Confirming on the application of modern teaching methods and lessen to have traditional teaching in all educational institutions.

• Not placing obstacles or barriers in front of individuals who are interested in continuing education. Besides, it should provide all means that guarantee to obtain educational opportunities equally.

• Providing all educational resources that contribute to get the required goals of continuing education.

• Working to secure active cooperation between educational agencies (universities, colleges, institutions concerned with teaching and education) and private sector institutions that are concerned with providing all the requirements for continuing education.
