لا يخفى على احد ان من اهم عوامل تقدم البلدان وتطورها هو العمل المؤسساتي وبالأخص المؤسساتي التربوي ومن هذا المنطلق تأسست جامعة الطوسي في محافظة النجف الاشرف على ايدي كفاءات علمية عراقية مخلصة في سنة 2005 وقد اجيزت الكلية من قبل وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي بموجب كتابها المرقم ج هـ س 4177 في 30/11/2005.
