As World Environment Day approaches, the Scientific Affairs Department / Continuing Education Division at Altoosi University College, in collaboration with the Department of Environment and Pollution at the College of Science, University of Kufa, organized a Clean Energy Festival under the theme, “For a Pollution-Free Environment”.
The festival featured various activities, including:
- A scientific seminar presented by Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haidari, Head of the Department of Environment at the College of Science, focusing on clean energy solutions and their impact on the environment.
- An engaging poster session on renewable energy led by Assistant Lecturer Muqdad Abdul-Ilah Taher, highlighting key aspects of solar energy, wind energy, and their role in sustainable development.
- Several workshops were conducted, offering practical insights into clean energy practices and showcasing various educational posters related to solar energy, renewable technologies, and environmental sustainability.
The event emphasized the importance of clean energy adoption for achieving a pollution-free environment and promoting sustainable development.
