In a new scientific achievement that reflects the growing academic standing of the University of Al-Toosi, Professor Dr. Ahmed Hameed Al-Azzam, Dean of the College of Nursing, has published two research papers during the month of May in two high-impact international journals ranked in Quartile 2 (Q2) within the Scopus index and also listed in the Clarivate database.
The first paper, titled:
“A flavonoid Ombuin ameliorates thioacetamide‑mediated liver cirrhosis in vivo: biochemical, immunohistochemical, inflammatory approaches”
was published in the prestigious German journal,
Naunyn-Schmiedeberg’s Archives of Pharmacology.
The second paper, titled:
“Field Marigold (Calendula arvensis L.) accelerates wound-healing in vivo: role of transforming growth factor-beta1 (TGF-β1), inflammatory, and biochemical molecules”
was published in the highly ranked Dutch journal,
Journal of Molecular Histology.
