Islamic Education Vision, Mission, and Objectives

Vision:

The Department of Islamic Education sees that Islamic education sciences are so important to serve the true and moderate Islamic religion and the higher interest of the country according to programs that rely on scientific accreditation in teaching and Human Researches adopted. Moreover, it provides the student with solid scientific knowledge and thinking foundations that reject violence and sectarianism, call for the wisdom and the good advice, and following the pure Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him). The Department of Islamic Education seeks to prepare a generation that follows the Holy Quran and the Noble Prophet’s Sunnah.

As a result, the primary tasks of the Department of Islamic Education are based on three main issues: scientific foundation, scientific research, and community service.

Mission:

The department adopts a moderate Islamic education curriculum to create a constructive generation that protects religion, maintains concepts, and builds a society that aspires to prosperity and progress via an integrated scientific model.

Objectives:

1. Providing religious and governmental institutions with specialists in Islamic thought and right teaching foundations.

2. Establishing theological and behavioral foundations to enable the students to take responsibility for the different stages of education.

3. Enabling the students, academically and scientifically, in a way that is entirely consistent with the requirements of Islamic institutions’ need in various stages of education.

4. Preparing researches related to Islamic education sciences and Islamic thought for keeping up the Human researches related to Islamic studies.
